Introductory European Portuguese (Beginners) by Native Speaker

In this multi-day course, students will learn and practice topic related vocabulary and simple sentence patterns and grammar rules in Portuguese.

This is a multi--day introductory course where no prior knowledge of Portuguese is required.

In this course, students will focus on a topic per lesson with practical and conversational use of the language in mind. Learning is interactive and includes song, games and role-play, with attention to grammar and structure relating to the theme of the lesson.
Both English and Portuguese will be spoken throughout, with emphasis on the Portuguese language.

Themes include
Day  1:  Introducing Myself; introduction to the verb [chamar-se]
Day 2: Greetings and Feelings; introduction to the ver [estar]
Day 3: Let's Talk about numbers; numbers 1 to 10 and gender agreement regarding cardinals 1 and 2.
Day 4: Who are you?; introduction to the verb [ser]
Day 5: Let’s Talk about Colors; using the verb [ser] and colors to describe the world around us.

We will start our lessons by saying our hellos and end them with our goodbyes in Portuguese.
Lessons aim to be interactive and fun, with many visual props and engaging activities.

Follow-up fun kits and work sheets may be sent out from time to time for your learner to continue practicing at home.
