Class Experience
I have been a certified veterinary technician for more than 30 years and have been teaching at a local community college in a veterinary Assistant Program and a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. Prior to teaching I was in management at one of the largest veterinary practices in my state. I also have a MEd from Colorado State University. I am a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, the Association of Zoo Veterinary Technicians and the American Association of Equine Technicians and Assistants. I am a lifelong learner myself and love sharing my excitement for learning! I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 5 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 3 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with all learners from diverse backgrounds from all around the world! If your learner has a dream to be a veterinary professional, then I am excited to help them on these first steps!

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
