Introduction to Word Families
In this ongoing class, learners will learn about different word families. Each day will be focused on one word family and reading words within that word family. Then, we will read sentences with words from the word family of the day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: **I teach classes with my baby in the room or by wearing baby. Baby may be seen or heard at times during class.** **Learners should know their letter sounds and have some basic reading skills for this class.** In this ongoing class that meets twice a week, learners will learn about different word families. Each day will be focused on one word family and reading words within that word family. We will then move to reading sentences with words from the word family of the day. This class is on a ten week rotation, so it starts over after week ten has been completed.
Learning Goals
Learners will improve their word decoding skills and fluently read words with these word families.
