Description
Class Experience
Students will learn both body weight and dumbbell exercises for increasing strength.
I am a Physical Education teacher: classes include fundamental motor skills and movement patterns, physical activity and fitness, individualized classes that match the interests and levels of all learners to ensure enjoyment for everyone. I also love to integrate academic content into physical education classes, such as reading and math. One of my goals is to get families involved in fitness outside of class as well. I am beginning to add content to social media. You can follow me here for workouts, activities, and tips: https://www.facebook.com/OutschoolShannonBartell I have been a teacher for 17 years and have been a PE teacher for 13 of the 17 years. I have taught 5th grade all subjects, multi-age 5th and 6th grade all subjects, and 6th and 7th grade Geography. My passion lies with PE and fitness. For the past 8 years, I have taught courses at Central Michigan University in the Physical Education department. Additionally, I taught group fitness classes at Central Michigan University. I have also coached cross country, soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
