Description

Class Experience

I am a certified veterinary technician and college instructor and I love sharing about the veterinary profession! I hope to share a little bit about veterinary science topics in this class to encourage and inspire learners to pursue their interests and passion for animals.
An occasional handout will be posted to print for class based on need. An inexpensive stethoscope is recommended but not required ($10-$15 at local pharmacy) Stuffed dog/cat and a small bath towel are needed for class 1
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Additional YouTube videos will be posted as follow up to class each week. On the week of surgery, there will be actual videos of surgical procedures being performed. Students are not required to watch them if they do not want to.
