Description
Class Experience
I have been a certified veterinary technician for more than 30 years and have been teaching at a local community college in a veterinary Assistant Program, a local private university in Equine Studies, and a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Colorado State University. I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a paint pony, 5 Nigerian dwarf goats, 11 chickens, and 3 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with others!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be given videos that may have things they find they don’t want to watch, such as the week we review diseases and surgery. These are only for those who would like additional learning. No one is required to watch videos that they may think could be disturbing to them.
