Class Experience
Proper positioning of the guitar when seated How to hold a pick as well as exercises to use it How to read rhythms and tablature
I have played guitar for over 35 years. My teaching experience spans over 20 years. Twelve of my year's teaching have been at the college level. Besides teaching at two different universities I own and operate a music school in Oklahoma for the last 18 years. Here I teach not just guitar but other instruments such as bass guitar, ukulele, and mandolin.
The student should have his or her own guitar.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
