1 hour per week. There is homework that takes 30 mins a day for 3-4 days and videos for practice.

Class Experience

Welcome to Introduction to Swahili. This is a year long Swahili class broken down to 8 months from Swahili 101-108. 

Kiswahili is the one of the easiest African Language to learn for English speakers because it has no lexical tones.

This course is for beginners with no prior background. Anyone can start with phonics and progress with to reading comprehension, listening and communicating with others.

We meet twice a week. 
Day 1: Lesson of the week.
Day 2: Practice listening and speaking.
There is homework for each day. 
Supplemental videos are available for practice and doing homework.
