Introduction to Suzuki Piano School Volume One will cover the basic pedigogical philosophy of Dr. Suzuki, Talent Education and how it applies to the young learner. I will give a brief introduction and then we will start learning the Twinkle Variations and I will inject the philosophical and pedogogical points as we go. This is a hands on teaching and information session for both adult (home teacher) and learner. We will end the class with theory using Music Mind Games Method of learning theory through play. Adults will participate as well. No prior piano knowledge is needed for this class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn finger numbers, basic geography of the piano including identifying key names and will gain an understanding of the music alphabet.
Students will also learn some basic rhythms using Music Mind Games through play.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello, I am Miss Stephanie and I teach Suzuki Piano, Voice and Ukulele. My undergraduate studies were at St. Marys College of Maryland and Graduate studies at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
I am also a fully accredited Suzuki Piano teacher registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas
