Next Generation Standard: 4-LS1-1. Construct an argument that plants and animals have internal and external structures that function to support survival, growth, and/ or behavior. Make observations of animals to compare the diversity of life in different habitats

While no formal assessment is given, students will be asked to write/type/ or verbally summarize what they have learned at the end of class. This summary will be used to communicate with parents. Frequent checks for understanding through individual questions and group conversations will also serve as informal assessments.
