Introduction to Spanish Weekly Class for Beginners.

In this once a week will go over:

We will practice the Verb "ser" (to be) (Who I am/What I am)  in first person. We will practice with names and titles. Each student will get individualized attention. Sentences will be illustrated with graphics and explained. Learners will be asked to fill out sentences from printable packets that will be available once enrolled. In Every class we will go over the colors and numbers.

Example: Yo soy Jorge, Yo soy un maestro. (Who I am/What I am) 
                 Yo soy Juan, Yo soy un estudiante. 
                  Yo soy Jacob, Yo soy un bombero.

And form sentences with the verb "tener" (to have) in first person.  We will practice stating possession of our belongings.  Sentences will be illustrated with graphics and explained. Learners will be asked to fill out sentences from printable packets that will be available once enrolled. Teacher will go over with each student so we can name the possession in Spanish then we can make our statements. In Every class we will go over the colors and numbers.


Example: Yo tengo un lápiz.                         Yo tengo cuatro manzanas amarillas. 
                 Yo tengo un juguete rojo.            Yo tengo tres limones verdes. 
                 Yo tengo dos hermanos. 



The following week we will practice the verb "estar" (to be) (how I am feeling/current location) we will concentrate on how I am feeling.  Sentences will be illustrated with graphics and explained. Learners will be asked to fill out sentences from printable packets that will be available once enrolled. Teacher will go over various general states of emotions in Spanish then we can make our statements. In Every class we will go over the colors and numbers.

Example: Yo estoy cansado,
                 Yo estoy triste,
                 Yo estoy feliz. 

As well as practice the verb "sentir" (to feel). We will practice stating sentences on how we feel. 

Example:  Yo me siento bien.
                  Yo me siento excelente. 
                  Yo me siento descansado.   

***The topic and theme will continue with the same structure week over week. The changes made in class will be learner oriented. 

**For example learners will state in the first meeting  that they are athlete's, next week they may state that they are scientist and so on. For the second half learners will showcase what possessions that they have.  One week they may showcase a book next week they may show a toy, or a notepad.

*****Classes are structured to adjust to what learner states within the confine of the topic and theme.

This class is a very basic class that needs no previous knowledge of Spanish. Teacher suggest at least one month for little ones to grasp basic first person statements. Students can join along at any point of the month.
