Class Experience

Introduction to Spanish
In this Multi-day course, students will learn new vocabulary.  There is no need to have any prior knowledge of Spanish to take this class.  Depending on the topic, students will be taught using videos, flashcards, power point presentations, stuffed animals, finger puppets, songs, repetition, writing, reading words and short sentences, drawing and coloring.  I will send a worksheet for each meeting to help them follow along.

Students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary.  They will learn how to say, read and write the new vocabulary.

I am a native Spanish speaker.  I am also a former teacher and I have tutored my 12 year old son in Spanish since he was a toddler.

There is no homework for this class.  I will send an optional worksheet for each topic and it will be solved during the class for practice and to check comprehension.

The students need to bring paper, pencil, crayons and/or color pencils. A worksheet will be provided in each meeting. They can bring their stuffed animals in the 3rd meeting.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

There is no assessment for this class.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
