This 8-week class will introduce Spanish to middle school learners. With eye-catching images and interactive activities, this course will keep your learner engaged while acquiring a new language. This course has been designed for students to learn the fundamentals of the Spanish language while also studying the culture of several Spanish-speaking countries. This class will be 40% vocabulary and grammar, and 60% guided practice. Students will be expected to: -Actively participate in class...
At the end of this course students will: -Be able to identify and describe themselves and others. -Be able to use short sentences in Spanish to communicate. -Be able to ask and answer simple questions in Spanish. -Recognize the uses of the verbs "estar" and "ser" -Have learned about the culture of Spanish-speaking people from different countries around the world.
I am a certified ELL and TESOL native Spanish speaker. I have been teaching Spanish to young learners for over 10 years. I teach other Spanish classes here in Outschool, all with 5-star reviews.
Students are expected to study/practice for 1-2 hours a week outside of class.
Google classroom and Kahoot.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
