1 hour per week. In our Spanish 1 class, homework is closely tied to the engaging activities designed for each week. Learners can anticipate spending approximately 30-45 minutes on homework, focusing on tasks that reinforce the skills covered in class. These assignments may include practicing vocabulary, recording short videos in Spanish, participating in virtual projects, or contributing to collaborative discussions in online forums. The goal is to provide learners with meaningful opportunities for independent practice, allowing them to solidify their understanding of the language concepts introduced in class. The homework structure aligns with the expectation that learners will invest dedicated but manageable time outside of class to enhance their language proficiency.Assessment
Apart from the activities conducted in class and some quizzes no extra assessments will be given. I believe in learning through practise therefore learners will get graded and provided with feedback from the activities they complete each week and how well they complete them.Grading

Learning Goals
In our Spanish 1 class, I'm excited to guide your learner in becoming proficient in Spanish! Throughout the course, they'll be acquiring important skills like speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. We'll explore interesting aspects of Spanish-speaking cultures, covering everyday things such as their classroom, clothes, colours, and daily routines. Additionally, we'll dive into concepts like time and dates to help them plan and understand when events occur. Your learner will get to discover yummy foods, practice using numbers, and go on virtual adventures to find hidden treasures. With creative projects like fashion shows and comic strips, they'll be able to showcase their imaginative side. We'll discuss topics like family, share stories, and even create a pretend weather report. This class isn't just about memorising words; it's about using Spanish to express themselves and connect with others. Engaging in activities and homework will support their practice, and they'll have the chance to interact with classmates online.
