What will be taught? In this class, the student will be able to ask the teacher questions and review material that the student needs help with. However, parents have the option to re-book my class again for future lessons. Each time, I will create a different lesson that is tailored for each individual student. What topics will you cover? Depending on the student's needs, we will meet for 45 minutes per class. Subjects that I am qualified to teach include: 1st-6th grade...
Students will improve on their understanding of basic "fractions."
MA in Childhood Special Education in grades 1st-6th. 10 years of teaching experience in both public schools and online.
I will not be assigning homework in this class, unless parents and I feel it is necessary.
Learners should only need a pen, paper and sheet of timetables chart (only if needed.) If something else is needed, I will message my parents and students.
As we work together, I will monitor my student's understanding of the material being taught. I will ask students questions to ensure my student comprehends the information. I also use games, songs, poems, youtube video clips and a discussion at the end of class.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
There will be no inappropriate content in these tutoring sessions. I provide my classes with fun and educational activities, like youtube video clips, stories, games and prizes.
