In this course, students will be taught the basics of soccer including passing, dribbling and juggling. Class can take place indoors or outdoors (whatever works best for your child). Class will begin with a quick warmup to loosen our muscles first. Then, we will complete different activities/games to work on our passing, dribbling and juggling skills (with and without cones or targets). For example, we will work on passing the soccer ball to our cone or target and earn points along the way. I will show how to pass, dribble and juggle first. The student will then have a chance to try it out with me. Finally, they can try it on their own. The goal is for the students to get as much hands-on experience as possible. No prior experience is necessary for this course.

Students will gain a better understanding regarding how to play soccer including how to pass, dribble and even juggle the soccer ball.

Parental Guidance
In order to prevent any injuries, please make sure to monitor your child during this course. As always, make sure to stretch before and after physical activity.
Supply List
The student will need a soccer ball or another ball if you don’t have a soccer ball at home, tennis shoes or cleats ( whatever you prefer-Also might depend on if you play outside or inside), and soccer cones or other objects from around the house the student can use as targets.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
