Class Experience

Have you ever wanted to learn how to write a screenplay but had no idea where to start? A masterclass might cost hundreds of dollars and going to school for it might cost thousands of dollars. 

In this one time class I will show my students exactly how to properly write a screenplay and will challenge them to complete one within the allotted time frame. 
We will cover what a screenplay looks like? This includes where dialogue, parentheticals, location and action lines go.

They will learn the basics of how to write a screenplay. With that knowledge they can work on expanding their minds and transferring those lessons they learned from one page to a full 120 page screenplay.

No homework is required.

You will need access to something like Microsoft Word or Google docs. Other options for more advanced programs will be given in class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

As this might be the first time that some students are writing a script, I don't want to discourage them by putting a number value to their one pagers. That being said if they do request one, I will provide one for them.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
