Want to learn computer programming, but unsure where to begin? This is the course for you! Scratch is the computer programming language that makes it easy and fun to create interactive stories, games and animations and share them online. This course is an introduction to computer science using the programming language Scratch, developed by MIT. Starting with the basics of using Scratch, the course will stretch your mind and challenge you. You will learn how to create an amazing story, animated images and songs in just minutes with a simple “drag and drop” interface. No previous programming knowledge needed. Join us as you start your computer science journey.

All my life, I have had a fascination and interest in computing and technology. I have always enjoyed keeping up-to-date with the latest advances in technology and have remained amazed at the speed of computerized developments over the past few years.
For as long as I can remember, I have been using computers at school and at home. When I connected my computer to the internet several years ago, I discovered another enthralling world for me to explore. Since then I have gained teaching experience with several applications, such as: desktop applications, web applications and mobile applications.
Presently, as a Computer Science and an Engineering teacher, I lead my students through creative design and problem-solving processes, guiding them to use programming in activities like building their own apps, websites, and video games.
