Basic bookkeeping and accounting with Quickbooks Online. It is important for children to start understanding the basics of accounting that they can apply to their lives. With this knowledge, they can begin to understand and apply to their everyday lives the concepts of buying and selling, budgeting and being accountable. We will begin by describing our very own dream business, creating our own Quickbooks trial account and plugging in the basic information of our dream business into Quickbooks. Afterwards, we will proceed with using fictional numbers to learn how to account for and do basic bookkeeping for our dream business. Each learner will get a chance to try this on their own if they wish, in an easy environment. This course is perfect for any learner who wants to gain knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting. This is an amazing tool instrumental for all facets of life. As teenagers they need to learn a few things like being able to account for their own money or basic book keeping for small businesses they may be working on. This subject matter is also an astounding tool to keep in the bags for the future.

My name is Ola, I have a BSc in Accounting and a Master in Media from Swansea University, United Kingdom.
I have been working with Intuit Quickbooks for 5 years, done bookkeeping and taught Quickbooks Accounting to small and medium sized organizations for 3 years.
When I am not teaching Quickbooks, you will find me hanging out with my 3 beautiful girls and teaching them my mother tongue, Yoruba. I also tell them fun stories about Nigeria, where I grew up. They especially love to listen to myths and traditional stories.
I cannot wait to teach some amazing learners the rudiments of bookkeeping and accounting, using the Quickbooks software.
