Class Experience

The student will learn the very basics of working with python and computer programming. Things like troubleshooting, printing to console, and basic math operations will be taught.
This class includes no homework
We will be using an online version of python that will allow us to skip the nitty-gritty of having python installed on your computer. The website can be found here I encourage parents to create an account on the website as saving our classwork will be important.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class includes no marks
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
You'll need to make sure your student understands the basic navigation of a computer and web browser. If they do not have this ability it will be critical that they pay attention and ask questions.
