Introduction to Public Speaking: Get Rid of Those Nerves!
Class experience
Everyone has a story to tell, a message to share. Everyone, at some point, will need to speak in front of others, whether that's in a classroom setting or a social setting, whether it's sharing information or speaking passionately about a cause they believe in. Sometimes HOW that message is shared is as important as WHAT is shared. If you are looking for a safe space to introduce your learners to public speaking, a place to begin to gain comfort and practice finding their voice, you've come...
Students will gain an overview of how to improve in their ability to speak in front of others in an engaging way.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12. For the past several years I have taught small group classes. Throughout my teaching career I have included public speaking as part of my curriculum.
