In this course students will learn about brain regions and their functions, the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system, conditional and operant conditioning, and how mental health issues are diagnosed by professionals using the DSM-5 handbook. This class is a one time self-paced class that students can use to familiarize themselves with basic psychological information. Lecture slides will be used throughout the lesson that students can take notes of for future reference.
