In this 6 week course, students will learn literary elements found in poetry, explore traditional poetry forms (i.e. couplets, haiku, limericks, and free verse) and edit/workshop original work.
Class Experience
US Grade 3 - 6
Each class will begin with a creative writing exercise. We will then move into an interactive lesson using a combination of slides, class discussion, and exercises. Students will have ample opportunity to ask questions, interact with each other, and share their original work. Below is an overview of the course flow.
