Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn the basics of piano playing in a fun, relaxed environment. They will be introduced to how to play with one hand, two hands, and how to read music and play by ear so that they can continue to learn new songs on their own.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in classical piano performance. I also have Master's degrees in music history and music theory, as well as doctoral certification in historical music theory and piano performance.
Learners should be prepared to practice at least 15 minutes every day to improve and reinforce what they learn in class.
A piano or keyboard. Keyboards should have at least 61 keys. Access to a printer (for worksheets).
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
