Class Experience

Do you want to know more about the piano? If so, this class will be a great introduction to the instrument and is a great place to start if you are interested in piano or in taking lessons. I have played since I was 7, and want to use my experience to get students hyped to learn about music and about the piano in particular. In this class we will cover the basics of the instrument itself. We will start with how the piano makes the sounds that it makes. We will cover the basics of how to sit at the piano, as well as hand and finger positioning. Then, we will have a lot of fun learning the difference between low notes and high notes.
Learning Goals
Students will learn what a piano is, how it works, how to sit at the piano, hand and finger positioning basics, and differences between high and low notes.
