In this 3-week course students will learn the basics of photoshop and create an edited picture that will appear to be professional. Photoshop must be downloaded before the start of this class.
Class experience
This class is designed to teach students to learn how to color correct, blend, shade, create cut outs, blur, transform, and completely alter an image in Photoshop. This is an introduction class and anyone with background knowledge will likely be too advanced The class will be designed as follows: All of the work will be on Screen Share with me working on Photoshop and them copying what I am doing to get in repetitions of how to use certain tools on Photoshop. Students will learn how to take a typical image and make it look professional using Photoshop. Students will be able to adjust the color, brightness and clarity of an image.
I was the photoshop editor for BYUtv as well as various projects that were used by ESPN. I've spent in total well over 500 hours on Photoshop and have had my work featured on six different professional platforms.
Students need to have access to Adobe Photoshop on their computer before the class begins. Not Photoshop Lite or any other form of Photoshop, it must be Adobe Photoshop. If you have questions feel free to email me.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
