This class is designed to teach students how to organize their ideas and focus their attention on organizing their thoughts about a topic and creating a well organized paragraph. Each class will have a different topic to focus on. Students will learn about proper paragraph structure and sentence fluency. They will organize their thoughts using the 4 Square Method. Students will learn how to organize a paragraph using the 4 square Method.
Students will be completing, editing, and rewriting the paragraph that was started in class.
Students will need to attend class with paper or a notebook, a printed copy of the 4 Square Method, and a pencil.
Learner progress will be assessed through class participation and paragraph completion.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
