Through questions and answers they'll understand the basic components of oral storytelling, voice, eye contact, movement, and characterization. Through this short class, students will know what oral storytelling is, become more confident in speaking, and have a story to tell to friends and family. The purpose of this introductory class is to stimulate interest and commitment to enroll in full storytelling classes that will last four to six weeks.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I received a degree in oral storytelling and have been telling professionally for over 20 years. I've conducted workshops in schools with children of all ages. I've seen how oral storytelling opens up shy children, helps more assertive children become better communicators and speakers, teaches children about other cultures and creates understanding.
