The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to music history from the Romantic period. We will discuss how the transition between the Classical and Romantic Period occurred through musical forms, composers, musical works, and cultural history. The following is a weekly schedule of what will be covered. Learners will be expected to keep a listening journal to record their thoughts on the pieces learned in class.
