This is a small class offering, so I can have more time for each student. Before taking this class, students should be proficient at adding and basic skip counting. We will learn the basics of how multiplication works (skip counting, adding equal groups). I will show a fun video on what multiplication is. Then we will discuss strategies on how to start remembering the times table. I am a friendly and patient teacher, so I will rephrase and offer alternative options as needed. Ideally I would like students to ask and teach one another. A prerequisite is students will need to know how to add and subtract.
