Introduction to Molar Mass
In this one-time, class students will learn how to solve the molecular mass of molecules/compounds
What's included
1 live meeting
55 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this class scholars will learn how to solve for the molar mass of atoms and molecules. Students will learn that the molar mass of a particular substance is the mass of one mole of that substance. Teacher will go over what a mole is for students, who have not cover that specific topic to ensure students' success in the class. The class will start with covering important keywords and their definitions. Then teacher will go over some example problems. Teacher will use check for understanding questions to ensure students are understanding the content and engage. Scholars will also be give practice problems and problems will be discuss as a group. The lecture is through google slides and scholars will have access to the slides during and post lecture.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to solve for the molecular mass of molecules. Students will become more familiar how to use the periodic table and will also be using mathematical skills.
