During this class, students will learn the basic functions of Microsoft Excel and get hands-on practice. This is a one time class and I will be sharing some fun ways of learning Excel. Parental guidance needed to set up Microsoft Excel on their Computers before they join this course. I will share my screen so students can watch me using the Microsoft Excel as I describe its functions. Students should have Microsoft Excel on their computer prior to starting class, so they can use the program and follow along as I teach the class. As time allows, the students will have the ability to share their screen in order to ask questions and share their work. I will be demonstrating with an installed version of Excel. However, there is a free online version available at Microsoft.com, which can also work well for learners during class. In order to maximize class time for all students, please ensure your learner is signed into Excel before class begins. Topics included in the class: Organizing data in rows and column Simple Math Function- Sum, count, round Conditional Formatting Formatting Cells Referring to data in multiple sheets and creating a dashboard

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi to everybody!
My name is Geetu Sodhi, and I hold a data analysis certification in addition to my computer science major. I will impart computer science-related knowledge here. I have first-hand knowledge in tutoring various computer science subjects .
I consider teachers to be perpetual learners who are always expanding and changing. As I am aware that every student learns in a unique way, it is my job as a teacher to accurately analyse each student's interests, skills, and prior knowledge. The next step is for me to design instructional activities that will push each student intellectually and allow them to develop. Some of the subjects that I would be teaching on outschool are : Advance Excel, Python Programming, Gsuite and SQL.
