US Grade 10 - 12
This course is designed for students who would like an introduction to matrices. This topic is usually covered in high-school level Algebra 2 and/or Pre-Calculus. Students should have completed Algebra 1 before taking this course. Topics Covered: Session 1: Introduction to Matrices, Add/Subtract Matrices, Scalar Multiplication Session 2: Multiplying Matrices Session 3: Finding the Determinant of a Matrix & Inverse Matrices Session 4: Solving Systems with Cramer's Rule The content will be presented via interactive lecture. The students will be given opportunities to solve problems in class using the "I do, you do, we do" approach.

Supply List
All materials will be provided by the instructor; though a printer is needed to print the lessons prior to class each week. A basic calculator is also needed.
