In this course students will learn basic lyrical steps and the style of lyrical dancing. The style of lyrical dancing combines techniques learned from ballet and jazz to create a style of dance that has smooth and fluid movements and that expresses a dancers' emotion. This course is designed for students who have a knowledge of ballet and or jazz dance styles. Students can either be brand new to lyrical or have completed a lyrical dance class before. Class Outline: Introductions Warmup Across the floor/center exercises (learning specific steps that will be used in the combination) Combination Closing (discussing what we learned)
Learning Goals
Students will gain knowledge in the dance style of lyrical.

Parental Guidance
Parents, please make sure students have enough room to move around and are wearing comfortable clothing that they can move in!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
