I successfully completed many hours of training where I learned that blacks, Hispanics, and immigrants from any country other than the USA need to feel respected, accepted, and recognized for their virtues. When I established this connection with students assigned to me, then they are willing to attack new sight words with confidence and are receptive to new knowledge. I hold various certifications: ESOL and reading K-12th.
