We will be teaching an introduction to landscapes. We will play games as we learn the basic fundamentals of painting. This course is fun, interactive, and educational course. We will create our own secondary colors using primary colors and draft a beautiful sunset beach scene. Creativity takes courage but we take the stress out of creativity. Whether you have never painted before, simply enjoy the process of painting, or have been painting for years you can increase your artistic skills in a safe judgment-free zone. We will hold your hand each step of the way while allowing you creative freedom. Enjoy a painting course that will leave you wanting more!
Learning Goals
Students will increase their art vocabulary. They will learn a little color theory. Youth will increase their fine motor skills. Classes will boost confidence and artistic ability.

Acrylic Paint: Black, white, red, blue, yellow. Paint Brush set: small detail paint brush, Round brush #4 or #6, and large paintbrush size 5/8 (smaller than 1") 11X14 Canvas Easel (optional) Paper towels Cup of water Apron/Smock/ or Old shirt Drop cloth or table cover
