We will be learning how to make a simple washcloth using knitting techniques. We will learn the basics of knitting… cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, knit together, and cast off, while making a patterned design. Our first week will be to learn the long tail cast on method and the knit stitch. We will be concentrating on making our stitches even. Subsequent classes will be used to learn the purl stitch and combining these knit and purl stitches into a pattern. Time, and skill permitting,...
