Description

Class Experience

In this beginner level course we will learn the Japanese language from the ground up.

-In week one we will learn about the kinds of sounds used in Japanese words, and learn about some words used everyday in Japanese that come from English! You already know more Japanese than you might think! We will also discuss the way that Japanese is written.

I have a bachelor's degree in Japanese from the University of Vermont.

While there will be no graded homework, students will be given some handouts to review before each class.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
