Introduction to Improvisation: High School Edition!

In this one-day workshop, students will learn the art of performing improvisation in a virtual setting with a Chicago improv performer. We will cover the rules and basics of improvisation. First, we will discuss the rules of virtual improvisation, then we will play various activities so that students can practice their acting and improvisation skills. Students will be provided with a list and description of the games prior to the session so that they can be familiar with the activities before we begin. My teaching approach is laid back and student-centered. I will work with your student on the skills they need to be a successful virtual improviser. This is a hands-on performance class.
