Class Experience
In this one day class, students will learn what Greek Mythology is and a little bit about ancient Greece. Learners will also learn about the 12 Olympians and how Zeus came to power by overthrowing the 12 titans. They will hear about the Titan war, the cosmos, and monsters such as Typhon and Echidna. A video clip of the Titanomachy war will be shown from YouTube. This is a great introduction class to those who are interested into getting into Greek Mythology or NEW to Greek mythology....
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There is some violence discussed which is seen in all of Greek mythology. Such as wars or battles.
