Class Experience
Learners will discover great artists through a brief history and biography about a different artist each week. After learning about the artist and seeing some examples of their artwork, students will spend the rest of class creating their own artwork. Class will begin with introductions and any information students are excited to share. Then we will dive into our new artist, and finally create our own artwork based on the artist, either as a replica of a piece of art or by creating in the...
Learners will need paper and tools to draw with. Most recommended are colored pencils or drawing pencils and a pencil sharpener. Crayons, art pens, or markers can be used as an alternative.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
