Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner Level
Welcome to Geology 102: Introduction to Gemstones and Crystals. If your learner loves gemstones and crystals and is building a collection this class is for you! How can we collect rocks? Where do we find them? What is a crystal? What makes a gemstone so special? Each week we will learn about a new crystal or gemstone We will learn its identification, physical characteristics, where we can find it, uses, how it's made, and more! We will begin class with show and tell. Every learner is allowed to share one rock, gemstone, crystal (or item of their choice) with the class. This is an interactive class that allows learner participation and interaction between each learner. Please be familiar with how to unmute if needed.
