Students will gain confidence in speaking French, learning to introduce themselves, talk about their age, feelings, likes, and dislikes. I will model full sentences for them and provide positive error correction if needed, in order for them to gain confidence expressing themselves.

I am an experienced online second-language teacher, with over 5 years under my belt teaching ESL to young learners. I earned my Bachelors of Arts with a French major. I recently completed a Masters in Design in France, conducted fully in French, and spent six and a half years living in France. I am bilingual and believe in an immersion-based classroom approach, using as little English as possible. I also give private one-on-one introductory French lessons online.

Homework Offered
The focus of this class is on conversational speaking, so no written homework will be assigned. However, students will receive a sheet after class with the vocabulary and sentence structures to practice. For students who wish to have extra feedback, at the end of the course, students will receive an optional video assignment where they will film themselves answering questions provided on an interactive PowerPoint. I will provide specific feedback should they choose to submit the assignment.
Assessments Offered
Students who choose to do the optional end-of-class homework will receive video feedback on their performance.
Written assessment and grading can be provided for homeschool or charter families where it is required. If this is your case, please don't hesitate to let me know.
