Class Experience A 6 week beginner French course (Level 5) designed to follow on from my level 1, 2, 3 & 4 courses, the class is interactive with lots of opportunities for students to talk in French and participate in question and answer role plays with each other. Learning is designed to be interactive and include games and activities for active participation, the lessons builds upon previous learning. The children learn full sentences and questions as well as discovering gender of nouns and spelling patterns. Students will learn the following topics: Week 1: Numbers 1-100, students will learn all the numbers to 100 Week 2: The verb 'aller' (to go) in the present tense Week 3: Asking for and giving simple directions around town Week 4: Describing the weather, learning common useful phrases and asking What is the weather like? Week 5: The grocery store, learning more food item vocabulary and talking about money and prices Week 6: Giving my opinions about food and other activities

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French Teaching from the University of Utah. She also lived in three French-speaking countries for a year and a half (France, Switzerland, Luxembourg). As a teacher, Camilla is patient, encouraging, and upbeat. She makes class enjoyable and stress-free while still creating a challenging learning environment. She enjoys using music, movement, and visuals to help learners focus and engage. Camilla loves the French language and loves sharing her passion with others.
