Bonjour and welcome to Introduction to French Level 2A! In this course, students will continue to build on vocabulary learned in Introduction to French Level 1 and will practice key grammar concepts.  Students will review greetings, practice verbs avoir and être, practice adjective-noun agreement, practice creating negative sentences, and learn common vocabulary to describe daily life.
Learning Goals
Students will expand basic French vocabulary to discuss days, months, seasons, and weather.
Students will continue to master use of present tense indicative forms of verbs avoir and être.

Syllabus

4 Lessons
over 4 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Greetings & Review
 Students will review French greetings and how to discuss age. We will also review the present indicative tense of verbs avoir and être and gender of nouns and adjectives. 
Lesson 2:
Les Jours de la Semaine
 Students will learn the days of the week and other relevant vocabulary. We will also practice matching adjective gender and plurality to nouns. 
Lesson 3:
Les Mois de L'année
 Students will learn how to count to twenty in French and the months of the year with other relevant vocabulary. Students will further practice adjective-noun agreement. 
Lesson 4:
Les Saisons et Le Temp
 Students will learn the seasons and review weather vocabulary learned in level 1. Students will practice creating negative sentences and continue to practice conjugating the verb être.

Students will be most confident if they have completed my level 1 or levels 1A and 1B courses
