Bonjour and welcome to Introduction to French Level 1A! This self-paced class covers the content of the first half of my Level 1 Beginner French live class. In this class, students will be introduced to basic French vocabulary, including greetings, numbers, and colors as well as the very important verb "avoir" (to have). Students will also begin to learn the pronunciation of letters in French, reviewing the first half of the alphabet. Several grammar concepts are introduced, including verb conjugation, gender, pronouns, and plurality. Each lesson will include a handout to reference for vocabulary and grammar.
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic French vocabulary for grettings, colors, and numbers.
Students will learn to use the verb avoir in the present indicative tense.

Greetings & Introductions
 Students will learn basic French greetings and pronouns; introduction of grammar concepts of gender, plurality, and formality; letters A-D

 Students will be introduced to the irregular verb avoir and its conjugated forms in the present indicative tense; practice liason; letters E-H

Lesson 3:
Les Nombres
 Students will learn numbers 1-10 and how to ask and tell age; letters I-K 
14 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
Les Couleurs
 Students will learn color vocabulary and the phrase "c'est..." as well as how to ask questions in French; letters L-N
