Introduction to French - Beginners (2x a Week) Dans La Classe De Madame Isabelle
This 6 week class will assist student through their first steps in learning French. Based on conversations, this class will allow beginners to immediately be able to use the French language in their daily life.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn French using 6 different themes. Each week has its theme. The Monday class will cover the academic section of the course (learning : grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) and the Wednesday class will reinvest what was learned through fun and games. The Wednesday class will also mostly focus on the correction of homework and making sure everyone is on the same page. Lesson 1 : Introduction to French (Greetings and How are you?) Students will be able to use basic conversation skills by the end of this 6 week course. They will be able to present themselves, talk about the weather, order food, talk about their age, the seasons and clothing. If taken seriously, your little ones might even be able to help you on your next trip to Montreal or Paris!

Every week a homework is posted on our google classroom after class. Students complete it and hand it in before Wednesday night. The homework will be corrected in class together. The homework allows the students to review what was in the Monday academic class.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

No final assessment is conducted. Students will learn for fun and our last class of the course will be une fête ''a party''. Where we will be playing more games and enjoying a special class.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parents can decided to guide their students through revision. Students can make cue-cards with the vocabulary or hold a journal to practice writing sentences, but it is not mandatory.
