In this class we will discuss the basics of football for learners who are new to the sport or want to learn more about the sport of football. We will also play a game of Football Jeopardy at the end of class to reinforce learned concepts!

This class will be geared towards learners who are new to the sport, so no experience will be required. The class will be structured for open discussion and dialogue between students and the teacher will be encouraged. The goal of the class is to prepare learners who maybe have an interest in playing the sport for the first time and want to learn more about it. The goal of the class will be to learn the basics about the game of football and encourage learners to play if they are interested in the sport.
I have played the sport of football my whole life and I have coached quarterbacks for 3 seasons at a Junior High School in Ohio.
There will be no homework assigned from this class.
Learners will need a whiteboard or piece of paper to write answers down to a game we will play in the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
All learners will participate in a game of Football Jeopardy at the end of class to assess their knowledge of the football game. The goal is to have fun and reinforce important football concepts :)
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There will be no sensitive information taught in this course.
