Hello My name is Ms. O’Neal. I am honored to be your tutor on Outschool! I am a native Memphian. I graduated from White Station High School. I studied Elementary Education at the University of Memphis. I obtained a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Cambridge College. In my spare time I love to travel, watch movies, read books, and listen to music. I will be teaching Introduction to Executive Functioning Skills for students on Zoom. The class will be in small group size from 3 to 6 students. I intend to have fun, engaging, and interactive classes. This is an ongoing and meets for 8 weeks. The age requirements are from 13-18 years old. Students will be evaluated to show progress by informal assessments, quizzes, checks for understanding, and exit tickets. I have received a certification in Instructional Design Technology in 2020 from the University of Memphis. I currently teach in the Special Education (Exceptional Children) program. I have over 15 years of experience in the classroom. I am highly certified to teach Literacy and English Language Arts. I have been tutoring students privately outside of the classroom since 2015. I have the education, background, and training to develop programs to cater to your child's specific educational and social needs during our tutoring sessions.
