Class Experience
Learners will be taught the fundamental basics of writing an essay. They will learn about creating an introductory opening, body, and closing in their essays. This a lecture-style lesson in which learners will be writing along with the teacher who will be modeling an essay. Learners will participate in a Q and A format and will begin demonstrating effective writing skills with the teacher during the session. Learners will be able to understand and demonstrate writing a basic essay at the end of the session.
Learners will need something to write with (pencil) and notebook paper to write on during the session.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
